Robert Half is hiring for a detailed-oriented, trustworthy Accounts Receivable Clerk for a reputable Insurance Company located in West Des Moines, Iowa. This position will play a key role in managing and maintaining financial records related to accounts receivable.Responsibilities:Post daily receipts and update accounts receivable ledger by applying transactions.Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.Conduct account research and analysis.Resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies within the customer accounts.Reach out to clients over phone or email to collect payment for overdue bills, loans, or other payments.Prepare weekly and monthly financial and analytical reports.Maintain up-to-date, complete, and systematic filing system to support book-keeping and financial records.Comply with relevant legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures.
